Truman Rivera Mindt does his homework, shows up early, hits his mark, and delivers. A New York City native, Truman began his training as a child actor at the celebrated Tada! Youth Theatre (Jordan Peele and Kerry Washington), where he appeared in several productions and developed the physical discipline, vocal range, and stage instincts that define his work today.
He continued his training at LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, Fordham University, and UCB Theatre, and continues to build his craft across stages and soundstages from NYC to Newark to Yonkers to Brooklyn, earning the trust of directors and producers who keep calling him back.
On stage, he recently originated the role of Abel in the world premiere of A Lunar Rhapsody by Academy Award-nominated, Obie Award-winning playwright José Rivera, bringing a rare combination of physical precision, emotional truth, and genuine range to a role built from the ground up.
Whether navigating the emotional demands of a musical theatre stage as Gomez Addams or holding his own on a professional film set, Truman Rivera Mindt brings the same thing every time: preparation, presence, and a performance worth watching. He is represented by Jeffrey Gill at Jordan, Gill and Dornbaum Talent Agency in New York City.
